St. Hind Rajab was a 6-year-old Palestinian girl who was tragically martyred. On January 29, 2024, while fleeing violence in Gaza City, Rajab's vehicle was deliberately targeted & shelled by Israeli forces, resulting in the death of 6 family members and 2 paramedics who had come to her aid. Left stranded & desperate in the vehicle, Rajab's anguished calls for help to the Palestine Red Crescent Society highlighted the brutal nature of the attack. Despite their pleas, both Rajab & the paramedics sent to rescue her were killed by Israeli fire. The military’s denial of involvement was contradicted by evidence confirming deliberate targeting of civilians brought to court by international law.
